Hello everyone,
I have a question, I need to know where I can catch football action in Sydney as I will be heading there next month to study. Are there any specific channels they air football on and do you need a specific cable? Please let me know also if there are any specific pubs that show football.
I had gone to Sydney last year and remember tuning into the Champions League game Man U vs Sprata Prague at like 7 in the morning for like 2 minutes so i'm just curious.
All answers will be greatly appreciated.

The new A-League will be up soon, I gotta read up to find exact details - but there will be the NSW premier league aswell if you want to go and watch some games.
SBS is the channel for free to air football (get used to ask for soccer though) - but pay-tv has much better coverage. You might wanna subscribe to Fox Sports or ESPN.

Foxtel (Pay TV - equivalwnt of Sky in the UK) has ESPN and Fox Sports which show the majority of football, SBS shows some also, but its generally highlights and delayed coverage on SBS, if you can find somewhere with Fox Sports or ESPN you will be fine.
Premier league games air around midnight to 2am and night league matches or CL matches are on at 4 30/5 am.
