I agree, Cisse and Nando, i hope, will be better next season....it's a gamble i know but to be safe i would still sign a new striker to back them up

I think we should give him a chance to find his form again, he was on the ball well, but pushed it over the line twice and created a corner for us.

Just don't agree with him coming back in such an important game!

Pelle should never of started, nor should nunez have,  should have been Le Tallec on the right wing!

I got the impression Kewell was more interested playing

in the Confederation cup for the ozys.

Wasnt he gonna have some operation when the season was

over ? Or is he gonna have it after the CF-cup meaning he will

miss the first 3 months of next season ?

I read somewhere he said that he was going to have the operation before the season finsihed so that he'd be ready for the CF Cup but I think that was sort of dependant on him not playing again this season

nunez is a squad player....but he's no first team winger and i think thats our problem, half of our team is full of squad players, guys who should only come off the bench or play in less important games. Judging by Rafa's interview on MOTD last night, he's going to weild a big axe in the summer :veryangry

My estimation of Rafa has increased 10 fold the last couple of weeks.  I thought him to be mild mannered and quiet.  But the last 2 league games have proved otherwise.  I would hate to have been in the dressing room yesterday after the match - he looked like he was ready to weild the axe there and then!!!

i think the boys will be 110% for Tuesday, they know they are 90mins from the Champions league final and Chelsea will be distracted from last night....

I reckon yesterday kewell and nunez played boss but nunez could'nt get the right ball in and kewell just couldn't score or react fast enough when the keeper fumbled the ball.

kewell, below average game as usual. perhaps it is time to stop expecting anything like his heydays in leeds.  thought nunez had a good game yesterday and worked tirelessly! for that matter, ournthreat came from the right and sadly not the left until garcia came in.

I don't think you can consider yesterday's game as an indicator for Kewell - remember it's was his first start in quite a while.
