just asking, because as bolo zenden has said (nice guy by the way) we got to one cup final, semis fo the champs league and still fighting for 4th.

considering injuries and so on, i think its been a better season to be a red than it has been for a while

The biggest disappointment is that even if we end up lifting the CL trophy and finishing 4th, we'll still be 30-odd points behind the premiership winners which is a ridiculous gap

Having said that if we win the CL and get 4th I'll be dancing in the streets til Xmas

Considering Houllier could have stayed and we'd be minus Stevie and Mikey, but we'd have Dion Dublin, no Alonso, no Morientes, no Garcia, we'd probably still have Diouf and 'The Next Zidane' we'd be in the UEFA Cup by now and probably knocked out, I'd say I'm pretty happy.

Then again, I'm an optimistic ba$tard.

Sorry I'm in a very happy mood, I had five pints of lager this afternoon while I should have been working. Now I'm drinking wine. Expect more of this drunken happiness tonight.
