I remember both games, the 9-0 had nine different scorers - can't see that record being beaten and I think Aldo's last game (correct me if I am wrong).

I also remember the 6-1 game and mcmanaman scored two and looked like we were well set for the new season, I think even Molby had slimmed down.

This might sound stupid but evertime we've lost this season Gerrard has been sh*te! I feel that the other players look to him to provide something too much instead of making things happen themselves.  For me we've played better without him when the chips have been down.

Whilst our performances sometimes lack desire on the road, our Champions League performances have been exceptional. I still support L.F.C. despite the loss on Saturday and with that being said Everton and Bolton WILL NEVER EVER perform the way we have in the Champions League.

Big Sam and David Gollum Moyes have no experience in Europe. While Bolton have some players who have played in Europe before, most of them are way past it and would get run over in the CL. Everton on the other hand have no players with any European experience.

With their style of play they wouldn't get far in the competition, the referees are more protective of players so the kicking players off the park wouldn't work for them like it does in the Premiership.

Don't get me started on the whole term "deserving". W

-We deserved to beat Chelsea at Anfield, but didn't.
-We deserved to beat Birmingham at Anfield but didn't.
-We didn't deserve to get robbed at the Reebok
-We didn't deserve to lose to Manchester City.
-We didn't deserve to have so many players out this season but we did.

Deserving means sh1t in football.

Everton didn't deserve to get points like they did against Birmingham despite the fact that the opposition was better.

Deserving means nothing.

Too right 'Deserving means sh*t', it's doing something about it what counts.  Far too often this season the players havn't shown enough desire.  There's no point saying that we deserved to beat Chelsea twice this season (as some people have been posting in this forum), the fact is that we have lost to them 3 times.  They players need to forget about what they deserve and should think about what can be achieved and how to go about doing it. It's achievements that count

So Everton and Bolton deserving to play in the CL, don't know about that. They got the job done as far as winning games but in many of them [mostly Everton] save their pathetic asses in the last dying moments of the game.

Losers talk about how they deserved this and deserved that, and how if this didn’t happen or if that happened. Winners go out and win.

Everton have little quality but showed heart, determination and fighting spirit to get another late goal and salvage a point against Birmingham.

Does anybody here think Liverpool would have got a point from that position against Birmingham? LFC would  have rolled over like the bunch of pussies they are (couple of exceptions).

We have spent HUGE over the last 5 years. Everton and Bolton are better than us (table doesn't lie). They deserve to play in CL Liverpool players deserve to be unemployed.

I would say I've never seen such a heartless performance as the one against palace but I've seen loads of them this season. They are taking the p1ss out this club

Careful Mick , the forum has become something of a Maoist state ,lots of kids waving little red books ,any negative utterance regarding the club and it's performance will have you branded as a capitalist running dog   :D

For what it's worth ,I agree with your obsevation .(says Woof as he legs it for the last chopper out of Saigon .   :D   :D  )

Personally I'd offload 2 or 3 at the end of the season but I wont go public and start slagging them off on here. Have some faith, the team out on that field whether or not they work hard or not, are the only team we have.

yes,its true.we hav no rite to questions whether the players out there has the fighting spirit, etc,Rafa knows best.he spent 10 hrs of training wif the players.he knows millions better than us.

yes,its frustrating tat we had 13 defeats.lets giv Rafa more time for him to understand the league better.
