Rubbish

Pongolle has made good progress before his injury and he does show real potential, but to say he is almost at Baros' level now is ridiculous.

Baros is proven at international level with a hatful of caps and goals.

Pongolle has to improve his first touch and his upper body strength before he can even be considered to be anywhere near Baros' level.

Don't get me wrong though, I like pongolle and think he does have a real chance of surpassing Baros as a player in the future

I dont know if anyone will agree but to Milan Baros is a really curious player to watch he is not a run of the meal striker in fact i not to sure if that is his best position.

he isnt clinical enough in front of goal and rarely looks up when he is on the ball he is good however at taking players on and has a fair bit of pace , im not sure if he could play in between the midfield and strikers as he does have good energy levels he might be better positioned their hustling and harrying balls down and running at players instead of playing as an out and out striker .

i dont know if he has a best position but i do know it wouldnt be to bad if he was sold to buy a proven goalscorer .

If only Baros could finish then he'd be world class . Would love to see him hit goalscoring form and stay then what a strike force .

On paper they look a formidable force ,but goal stats suggest a different story .OK Cisse has been out for most of the season and Morientes has only just arrived . I would say that we are looking at three players with big reputations but none of them have yet actually lived up to those reputations at LFC (so far) .

Nando has hardly played all season and is still getting used to life inthe premiership and given time will more than likely come good.

It wasnt slagging Baros off just a mere observation if thats ok with you.

But Baros has been at LFC for a while and yet he is still to light the  premiership up with his so called reputation

Baros is the type of striker who will cause oppositon defenders a lot of headache even if he was seriously off-form. I wouldn't want him to go......but looks like rafa agrees with most of the members here and he will go this summer.

As for talk of pongolle being just as good or almost as good...... ???  no comments needed.

I think Baros may be on the bench for the last 2 or 3 games of the season and that will be a clear indication that he will be on his way.

Baros is a decent player, but we want to improve our team, and he wont be willing to sit on the bench. So it suits both parties if he leaves, at least we'll double our money.
