Nunez was a liability in the first half and he couldn't get into the pace of the game. He was wild in his challenges and Zambrotta got past him easily on occasion.
Agree with the Nunez assessment. Zambrotta bypassed him at will. It was embarrassing. I've seen enough of him now to pass judgement - and I don't think he cuts it.
Traore continues to be a mixed bag. Sometimes his tackling and timing are superb. But too many other times he's dangerous. There were at least four occasions when he nearly lost us the tie. He missed his header completely against Canavarro. He tried a Burnley-like turn in our 18 yard box and passed it straight to a Juve player - we were lucky he was also fouled. Im not convinced he's safe enough to be part of a great Liverpool team.
Finnan just continues to play better - finally he's showing what he can do. He churned out performances like that time and again when he played for Fulham and Ireland.
The Cisse comment as mentioned is harsh. He must have huge will/determination/ambition to have returned so quickly from a career threatening injury. Anyone that can do that is not lazy. And he's clearly not fully fit.
Biscan, again, what a bonus to watch him put in quaity performances - its like having bought a new player.
Riise - played his part without being outstanding.
Agree with most of your viewpoints.
