Liverpool vs tottenham

We lost against Man City but I have a good feeling we'll beat Spurs. This could even be the lineup:

Finnan Hyypia Carra Traore

Garcia Biscan Gerrard Riise

          Nando Cisse

If i'm not mistaken, Baros hasn't finished his 3 match suspension so therefore he is not eligable to play.

Considering Cisse had a successful 10 minutes against Juve he will start also because we have no strikers.

I think we should start with Biscan and bring on Alonso later on to avoid a risk of injury but i'm happy to start Alonso as well because he seems fully fit now.

We'll win 2 - 1, we're home.  :)

i dont cisse will start cos hes only had a 10 min run out and should preserve him a little bit more, i think spurs have scored 9 goals away from home so we wont need him anyways  :D

we have to get on with the next game Rafa is a straight shooter and although he and the team is ecstatic his mentality is that he will immediately switch his attention to the spurs game, dont see any reason whatsoever we cant win comfortable im going for a 2 goal victory 3-1 id say

Imo, Cissè shouldn`t be among the starting XI. I`ve got a hard time believing that he is fully recovered and and we can`t afford an extended injury-period for the lad. Imo he should be pitched in the second half, if we`re in need of additional force in the offencive game. If we lead comfortably we shouldn`t risk it, but if the score is 0-0 with 20 mins to go, he should be pitched.

But, I have to say I look forward to see the pairing of Morientes and Cissè up front :)

If Cisse does play, it is purely miraculous. In the season of his horrific double leg break, he still played for Liverpool against Tottenham twice. how does is sound? and him scoring a goal on saturday would be class, scoring 2 goals in 2 matches against Tottenham during his broken leg season.

Definately wouldnt start Cisse, he played about 15 minutes and the pace of the game is nowhere near as fast in the champions league as it will be on sat. Alonso i would play if Gerrard is not fit, but if Stevie is ok i would have Alonso on the bench. He played brilliant last night...but after a few months out i cant see him being ok to do 2 games in a week.

Cisse will only get fit by playing matches. But I am surprised that he is not in the reserves line up for tonight. Darren Potter was an un-used sub in turin so they have got back.

The fact that Potter was included in the reserve match today and Welsh wasn't suggests that he will at least be on the bench. Alonso will definitely not start, and Rafa may decide to leave Biscan out because he has played regularly for us lately and will only have 2 days to recover.

Despite the fact that Cisse played for ten minutes Rafa won't give him a start until he gets a couple of reserve games under his belt.

I think that Gerrard will be fit by the time we play Tottenham.

Carragher picked up his fifth yellow card against Manchester City so he may not play against Tottenham or is it that the player is suspended when he picks up his sixth yellow card, not entirely sure.

The only worry i have about our Champ League success is the detrimental effect it could have on securing the 4th spot. This is a massive game for us and there will be a lot of tired legs in the squad right now. I fancy us to win an ugly game 1-0 with Nando getting a much needed goal.

I'd be very surprised if Alsonso is up to starting after his fantastic efforts last night when he ran himself into the ground. I imagine he walks like a man who's pooed himself right now. I would also be surprised if Cisse gets a start an have a feeling the gaffa will go for Le Tallec to support Nando.

Others deserve one but we need to win and
I dont think there is enough quality to replace them .

JC will miss Totenham match if he got his 5th yellow against Man City. If not, then I'd pick this team (assuming Alonso and Cisse are knackered!);
