eric clapton dies and goes to heaven. st. peter is there at the pearly gates to greet him...
"eric so glad to see you. we've got a heaven rock band and we need you on guitar."
"cool" says eric.
st peter leads him off to the rehearsal rooms to meet the band. there's john bonham on drums, phil lynott on bass and janis joplin on vocals.
"great band" says eric. "but who's the knobhead in leather and wrap around shades dancing about over there"
"oh, don't worry about him" says st peter. "thats just god... he thinks he's bono."

they are one of my favorite bands and the band you're thinking of is the reminance of Queen who are also on tour this summer.
