The Libyan leader is trying to buy the famous English club.
Al Saadi Gheddafi wants to be the new Abramovic and buy a prestigious European club to lead to glory. He set his sights on the Anfield Road club, which he had already tried to buy back in 2002, but at the time his 200 million Euro bid was rejected.
Things have now changed and the board of directors might accept the new offer as Gheddafi also plans on building a new 120 million Euro stadium for the Reds. This was stated by the Libyan political leader turned footballer in a Financial Times interview.
Gheddafi already owns a local club (Al Ittihad), has shares in Juventus and currently plays for Serie B side Perugia.
