Another chance thrown away. The advantage is once again with the blueshite who will no doubt draw great confidence with this result.
Player ratings are easy, everyone gets a very tired looking 6 except Carson who did all he could to keep us in it.

if everton get a win that moves them four points ahead and with six games remaining thats two of games gone to catch them up even if they dont get another point.
its going to be close again.

Don't count out Bolton who have a lot of momentum and a chip on their shoulder with all the press getting on their back about being a bunch of fouling longball mothers.

I think the team to really watch out for now is bolton as everton have lost 5 of their last 6 matches and are basically ******.

Jeckyl and Hide performance again. Better than Juventus but worse than Manchester City is beyond everyone. The positive thing is that we now have a promising goalie in Carson, it could have probably been two null.

Many times this season we lost our concentration when we shouldn't had.

When we played against Birmingham at home we fell asleep during a corner and let in a goal that decided the game, a game in which we dominated.

Our encounter against Portsmouth looked to be a scrappy win until our back four lost their concentration in the very dying minutes in the game, Lua Lua equalized it for Pompey.

The same happened today, I wouldn't had been entirely satisified with a point but if we had cleared the ball today then perhaps we wouldn't had lost.

The horse I picked for the Grand National Clan Royal was f*cking flying around that course before the riderless horse got in the way.

Then Liverpool miss another opportunity to get that fourth spot.

What a sh*tty day.

I think it's not so much we played ******! I think yesterday's match clearly highlights how little bite we have up front. We are creating more chances consistently nowadays; and that is something that cannot be said of Liverpool of yesteryears/seasons. We sorely miss someone that that can put that proverbial nail in the coffin and we haven't had someone like that for at least 2 seasons (IMHO, ever since that Bl**dy 'Boro home match of 03/04 season). IMHO,RB needs to put the boys on a diet of raw meat to bring out the killer instincts!!

I hail from Malaysia (+0800 GMT) and i stayed up till 2am to watch the match (delayed telecast). I wasn't content with 1 point so u can imagine how bl**dy devasted i was with a @&#*ing loss!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully they'll bounce back and take it out on Juve at Turin. Fingers crossed!!

Hi, blur. I am from the same part of the world as you.

Liverpool's inconsistency is utterly baffling. This yo-yo has been going on for too many a season, it was there even since Souness' days as the manager. It is very hard to point out why. This season, the yo-yo form is especially apparent at away games, although we have improved the home form in general.

Until and unless Liverpool can cure this inconsistency, we fans have to be content with seeing Liverpool fight for scraps.

In the season which we got 2nd, we won something like 10 out of 12 games or something like that.

can't blame souness for that  :D

anybody miss baros ? (with all the anti-baros sh1t i have reading these past few months).

I am sure baros would have given the man city defence more problems today.

i know that he is suspended and all that, but with many fans writing him off, (including loads from here), you can just see how toothless our attack is without him.

If we are to sell baros, we should at least have a suitable replacement (one which is gonna cost more than 10 million). And not just dream that morientas & cisse will score 40 goals between themselves next season.
