I'm just amazed that you've mentioned a non-Norwegian Liverpool player! Heskey has not "set Anfield alight" as promised by Houllier and £11m is a hell of a lot to pay for a goal every three games. Still Houllier seems reluctant to admit Heskey is not a Liverpool player and cut his losses, I get the feeling Owen will leave before Heskey

Don`t score enough goals - yeah but - someone has to set up the others !? And I`ve seen him airborn a few times - hopefully on sunday too - when they show the match vs Pompey on norwegian tele.

He was bought for £13m, he ought to pull his weight with goals and he is certainly not a creative genius. He found his level when turning on the style against 3rd division Yeovil in the FA Cup

I am norwegian yes ! But hereon I`m a football fan, first and foremost ! It`s just a coincidence that LFC has norwegian players - although they should`ve had more ! :cool:

When Norway got lucky and got to USA 94 ahead of us there was an inevitable increase in the number of Norwegians signed in England (and other Scandanavian players). Unfortunately they were never good enough for us to win anything and would have been better at smaller clubs

Because Houllier is a cr@p manager and prefers what Heskey is capable of but never delivers to a player who has never been given a chance
