The didi hamman footbridge

Classic short piece covered on Radio 5Live last night about the naming of the new Wembley 'footbridge', an important part of the new Wembley complex being built. The committee responsible put the naming of the bridge out to an internet vote. The vote seems to be getting hijacked. The Aussies have got wind of the idea and are lobbying hard for the John Eales footbridge (rugby player I think) but the best bit is that the clear vote leader at the present is our own Didi Hamman. A beautifully ironic gesture from our sausage munching cousins. Who said the Germans had no sense of humour.
