Bolton- a cameo of our season. - A quote from the press.

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby oldredeyes » Mon Feb 09, 2004 10:15 pm

I came across a quote today from one of the more gifted members of the media, it goes as follows;

''A third successive draw at the Reebock Stadium on Saturday did little to deter the doubters who question Houlliers tactics and temperament for the job of restoring the club's fortunes. It says much for Liverpool's ambition that fourth place and a poor man's qualification into the Champions League will be considered an achievement this season'.

I have nothing else to add.

Well what is pathetic is that the board seem content with that finish, I mean are we even making any effort to sign world class players?
The fact is this season they could have made changes but they tried with the same tried and failed squad as the season before.

"World Class players" want Champions League football and Liverpool cannot guarantee it season in, season out at the moment. While Kermit continues to play chance with our signings, gambling on "french superstars of the future" then we will become less a force and more a farce
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
