Gerrard, hamann & baros will deffo leave.

I have no problem with them leaving, but i hope their replacements are not some cheap spanish players from malaga.

Baros will leave as will gerrard, Hamman will stay hopefully though if he leaves then no problem, but we will have to be very active in the transfer market, not only adding to what we want in out squad but replacing existing parts, I also see Kewell as a possible defector, though i hope he stays, the mans fell off his horse and needs our help to get back up

i wouldnt be bothered if baros did leave.in the past he has been one of my favourites and admittedly always puts in 100% effort wether he plays good or bad but he has aquired the annoying habit of going to the press whenever he has got a gripe. no manager can move forward with the sword of damacles hanging over him every time he wants to try out something new.
if we are going to progress we need the players to start thinking about the club instead of themselves, a la man u.
the professionalism of the likes of solsjkaer, smith in fact anyone who isnt in their side is admirable.
i think there`s definatley cliques and arguments behind the
scene`s at anfield, probably gerrards stance in the press hasnt helped either. trouble at mill.

If we're perfectly honest, we know that Josemi, Pellegrino and Nunez won't make it at Liverpool as anything other than squad players at best.

Heinze settled immediately at Man U. Alonso settled immediately with us. That's because they are both quality players who are good enough for this league.

We've been very unlucky this season with injuries to key players and that will have played a big part in where we end up this season. Unfortunately, on present form, we will be lucky to finish in a UEFA Cup position.

I listened to the game on Radio City today and the thing that worries me most is the lack of fight and commitment that we seem to be showing, the lack of pressure on our opponents. We hear all the positive spin from the players in the build-up and then play like we've already been relegated.

Missing out on the Champions League this season will hit us hard. Last time we missed out, we had Owen & Gerrard in the team. Top quality players who were great ambassadors of the Liverpool name. They were also saleable assets.

This time, missing out on the Champions League means:

1. Gerrard will go.
2. Top quality replacements will not come to a club who aren't in the CL.
3. Top quality replacements will not come to a club who lost their captain for that reason.
4. For the first time in 20 years, top players might see Goodison a more attractive option than Anfield.

This will slowdown an already slow rebuilding process. So, I suppose we just have to be patient. We were never going to challenge this season and we have made some progress with our style of play....anyone fancy turning back the clock to 2001?

I'm just joking; Rafa's the man, I actually feel sorry for the guy. He must wonder when he's going to get a break. I'm sure next season we'll take a few more steps forward and I hope he remains positive and does the right things.

Step forward David Moores and Rick Parry. I won't criticise them; they've both done a great job and backed previous managers well. But we are slipping further behind the pack every season. And really, we'll have temporarily gone backwards by the end of this season. Please put your money where your mouth is boys.

And prepare you're stomach for a very empty feeling when the Bluenoses are in the Champions League and our captain and best player leaves us in the summer. Book your summer break for the 14th May.

It might be easier to name which players will still be there next season?..not many of the present squad thats for certain. I would keep
                              carson
                               finnan
                               carra
                               riise
gerrard (but i think he will go?)
                               alonso
                               morrientes
                                ciisse
the  rest  are expendable, not good enough to wear the Red shirt.         :oh:

Most of the squad have a lack of heart! Players that stay should be Carson, Kirkland, Hyypia, Carra, Riise, Finnan, Garcia(nifty player SOMETIMES!), Alonso, Gerrard, Cisse and Mori. All the rest can f:@{ off. They r all ******. Bring some liverpool born players in tht will fight for the club and a few world class players
