Theyve had settled early, starting to shoot, albeit off target, but still, we're unsettled

Started  very well. Stevie has looked brighter than I've seen him for a long time. Milan seeing a fair amount of possession as well. Carson not tested yet.

Let's hope they keep it up.

Newcastle gradually becoming the dominant team. Last 10 minutes have reminded me of Cardiff :(

Scrappy first half. A lot of long ball clearances from ourselves. Garcia has done well and been our best playmaker, Stevie has been lively although was showing signs of frustration and the end of the half. Milan hasn't really been able to better Bramble or Boumsong which is dissapointing - Boumsong looks like quality.

Pellegrino still doesn't seem to have the pace of the Premiership. A sneaky goal on the break is probably our best chance of winning this match. Alternatively they've got Robert and Fai booked and one of them could go in the second half.

Ill take it considering the injuries.

Absymal second half. NOT ONE SHOT ON GOAL THE WHOLE MATCH. For a teaming supposedly fighting for fourth spot.

Awful performance. Not one man stood up for us today. Midfield were poor - we barely managed three passes in a row the whole match. Stevie faded away to nothing although it didn't help being stuck out on the right. Smicer and Biscan completely anonymous and Garcia's loss of possession was spectacular.

We are in deep trouble. Football can't just get much worse than what I've just witnessed.

Everton can now go 11 points clear of us with a home win tommorrow. Leverkusen if they perform could hammer us on that performance.

I know we can make excuses but that in my mind was indefensible :( :( :( :(

Time to throw in the youngsters and give them an opportunity to shine and show us what they've got, it can't get any worst. We've never lost to a Souness-managed team until today. Sick of those overpaid, under committed fu*kers! Disgrace to our shirt...
