11 games from mediocrity - What say you ? ?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

OK ladeez und Gentlefolk, here we are (again) with the old cliche of 11 cup finals, 11 games from greatness or whatever you wish to call it.

How do you see us getting on?

I think it will go along these lines, results I am pretty sure of, the scores are a different matter....

1.        Newcastle (A) - WIN 2-1
2.        Blackburn (H) - WIN 3-1
3.        Everton (H) - WIN 2-1
4.        Bolton (H) - WIN 1-0
5.        Man City (A) - DRAW 1-1
6.        Spurs (H) - WIN 2-1
7.        Pompey (A) - DRAW 2-2
8.        Palace (A) - WIN
9.        Boro (H) - WIN 2-1
10.      Arsenal (A) - DRAW 2-2
11.      Villa (H) - WIN 4-1

I think this will give us enough to get into the coveted 4th place.

What do you think?

I can't for the life of me see us going 11 unbeaten in the league. We'll lose two at least i would think.

If we sign fred and sidibe the wkd player who sits on gillighams bench every weeek, then thats a different story.

Your a bit more optimistic than me Leon. A run like that might have us challenging for 3rd place!
It all hangs in the balance for me right now. I'm 50/50 on whether we will overtake the blue sh.ite.
A loss at Newcastle this week and another win for Everton would leave us in serious bother + take the pressure off them for the derby

Its been a bit stop start the lst few weeks
What we need is a win against Newcastle then that will start to put some pressure on everton and make them look over their shoulder.  As it stands now theres a gap and psychologically they must be up for it but a derby win and with them playing the big boys etc we can then see if theyve got the nerve for it.

However if they have then we might have to take it on the chin.  Lets pray they start sweating

I agree with everything except the game against Pompey which is the one I think we will lose.

Have to agree   :(

No use crying over spilt milk but results like we had against teams we should've easily beaten are going to cost us big time . We really need Everton to start dropping points or next season is gonna be unbearable .

I can`t for the life of me see Everton above us at the end of the season. I`m confident that our key-players are gonna raise their game in order to secure the 4th place.

I seriously believe that no team is gonna pick more points than Liverpool when counting from today and until the end of the season.
