No the team (apart from SG) did not looked at all inferior to the £250M Chelsea. It was 12 vs.10 remember? We could have got the win if Gerrard didn't intervene. Our defenders were solid today. We lost in the middle of the park where SG went on a walkabout. Too bad Rafa choose to play only one striker up front for we could really have taken on this Chelsea squad and get a win. Proud to be Red...Walk on...

We where so disciplined.

With all of the injuries and bad luck we have suffered, and yet we where still better than super million pound spending Chelsea.

Well done lads.

Next year will be our year.

yes we knew it was going to be a hard game , but i think we could have got the ball a bit more and made more of it when we did, there was so much diving going on by then that i think our team did not even want to go there them in case they got sent off

but it says it all their
we played good as a team, but we did not have a leader(captain) in this game, so we went no where. Gerrard should take that arm band off right this second.

Exactly Red Army, I'm so pi$$ off with this performance, it he played half as good, we would have pulled it off!

Gutted, absolutely gutted. We didn't deserve that result at all.

MOTM for Pool: Steve Finnan. Mightily impressed with him today.

When things get tough that's when you see people true self "Unfortunately" Gerrards true self is not to amusing to say the least, EVEN THOUGH he did try and break up the ruckas by patting the Chelskiboys bums and talking to them ever so calmly rather than talking to OUR boy's.

Anyway whatever most think you have no right to slagg of le blessed one.

The only one that deserve to lose is SG and not the team. Proud to be a Red. Let's hope they can take this as positive and turn it up a notch for the rest of the season.

under pressure we went back to the houllier tactics of long balls to one striker and flooding the defence and as chelsea discovered midweek if you adopt these tactics its only a matter of time.
things didnt go for us like the penalty shout and the flukey nature of the own goal.
we`ve just got to regroup and get on with the rest of the season. every player tried his hardest and thats all you can ask. luis garcia and steve finnan must have ran a marathon in that game.

why...summary: our midfield ceased to function. No link man, that's what Stevie was suppose to do. Captain went AWOL this season!

Stevie G, he often bottles it in the big games, he does it for England, and he does it for LFC.

Againts Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, normally he is non existent.

What happened to the "fight" today?

If you wanna go to Chelsea mate, just go.

I couldn't care less.

Lets buy Kaka
