Dudek - On the take?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Bring in Carson NOW ,Let dudek keep the bench warm till we get a replacement all he is doing is upsetting the defence with his lack of confidence carson wont be no worse than Dudek and may instill some new confidence. The only keeper i know who cant bloody catch a ball a great shot stopper no doubt about that but i think we need someone more steady and calming or at least someone who can catch a ball and claim a bloody cross now and then.Like i said he's a great shot stopper but then again so is david james and i wouldnt like him in a red shirt again.

Other than the saves he made look more difficult, Dudek was poo last night. i agree with ronmiester, drop dudek for carson before he lets us all down in a more important CL game....

hawkmoon269 it's difficult to understand that,so do not ask me to answer this. The words you've attached are polish but in the wrong order.
to the other pseudo fans i was trying to be polite, when i was claiming that liverpool has loads of fans in Poland but in fact we like liverpool just because Dudek plays for FCL,that's it.

And you have great players ha,like David Beckham,he's from boys band or something,as there is plenty of pictures of him in the tabloids. What would you say about Steve,he was suppose to play for Real, but he just vanished somwhere, ain't it Manchester City. You don't know any players from  Poland, you' ll remember Jacek Krzynówek after the second game REDTILLDEAD.If english players are so perfect why you're buying players from abroad, where are english players?since i can find just a few of them in Arsenal,Chelsea,Man Utd,or your LFC,sayonara

I seem to remember Boniek beat the long jump record when he dove into the LFC box in 1985.

Anyway, I am surprised that so many people think Dudek played well (barring his error). He made a couple of good saves but the more aware members should have spotted the corner kicks where he came out and was nowhere, the balls he didn't come for (JC gave out to him).

Was the match on TV in England? or was it just highlights. I watched in here in Ireland and said a few minutes from the end that people will praise him for his clean sheet but he has played poorly.

Has to go!

Anyone that slags off Polish football either lacks knowledge or has a poor memory.  They reached the semi final of the '82 world cup when they hade an outstanding team that included Boniek and Lato.  England were knocked out early in the tournament.  I think Lato may have been top scorer in the '74 world cup after Poland had famously knocked England out in the qualifiers.  Boniek went on to play with the Platini lead Juve team of the mid '80's.  As Big Niall pointed out it was Boniek who won the "penalty" for Juve in the '85 European Cup Final when Gillespie took him down "outside" the box.

Polish fan is entitled to his opinion like everone else.  It's admirable that he is defending his fellow countryman.  English people went nutty during euro 2004 because their teenager played well against two ****** teams.  The rest of the world (including myself found it hilarious).  Don't forget that Brian Clough famously called the Polish keeper a clown in '73.  The same keeper proceeded to have a blinder against England and helped deny poor England a place in Germany '74....so don't have a blast at our polish forum member just because he is backing his fellow country man.
