Ok ok so you have to choose a stance and you cannot ever change that stance...

so steven gerrard plays a blinder one game and we praise him and if he then scores 3 own goals and misses half a dozen sitters in the next match we cant say it was a bad performance.

Ok so a bit extreme but u are allowed to say a player was dissapointing in one game and good in the next... if thats how it was.  Nothing wrong with stating facts

you can change that stance, but people on this forum like to slag players off and then pretend that they have always been behind them, people like johniiemac1979 i have time for as their opinion is consistent

I was thinking about this earlier.  From as far back as I have been posting on here, I have been pretty consistent.

I originally came on here as a protest to Gerard Houllier that the football being played was not getting us anywhere.  I never ever called for his head though.  Not once.  It was right for him to go when he did though.

I don't really have a go at the players either.  The only two I ever had it in for was Emile Heskey and El Hadji Diouf.  I thought the pair of them needed to be shipped out.  Once I had made my mind up, I couldn't defend them any more even if they played a blinder.  I think Diouf had one good game for us after his debut, and that was away against Blackburn in the Carling Cup.  Still knew he would be sh!t in the next game though.  Heskey hit the deck like a sack of sh!t in the last minute against Man Utd at Anfield last season instead of breaking the net with a piledriver.  I didn't ever forgive him for it.  How many times had you seen him do it?  It was the last straw for me.

You wont hear me having a go at Rafa.  For what my opinion is worth, the people who wanted him out five or six weeks ago need to have a quiet word with themselves.  So we get beat at Southampton and Birmingham?

Before Rafa takes us where he wants to, we will lose on the way, we need to take stock and reflect why we lost and then learn the lessons from that.  Whether it's a new system, or finding that a player can not do the job he is given, or finding a better player for the position.  He has already made a couple of murmurs that he will not tolerate the lack of fight that was evident against Southampton and Birmingham.  The result of this?  The Leverkusen game.  I have a feeling the players now know who is the Boss.

Rafa has got my full backing.  To want him out of the job after seven months is crazy!!

Its a forum people have opinions them opinions change like the weather so what.If the team play rubbish like they did against birmingham then they deserve a slating if they play good they deserve praise .Just because someone blasted certain players in the past dont mean they cant give em praise when they play good.Like i said its a forum people are entitled to change there opinion and post it as often as they feel they need to.
