we need defenders, we need a world class right winger, we need a striker who will score 10,000 goals a season... fu.ck that, how about 1 who scores that many per game, we need an investor with more money than bill gates...

we need a lot of things, defenders is just one of them

Zero chance we'd get him. If he leaves Bayern, he'll be in the price range only Madrid of Chelsea can afford.

Unless Gerrard goes. Then we cou'd afford him, and a player of that calibre would cushion the blow.

He's likes to get forward and score goals. Nice pairing with Alonso.

I know we have all panned those ****** players as you call them , but some of those ****** players got us a great result on Tuesday:blues:

Ballack is real class and would be an immense buy but we akso had this debate in the summer

I suppose we have to be optimistic in case SG does go

Just shows you what ordinary squad players can do when the play as a team, with passion, determination, and "I'm going to win that ball, fu[ker" attitude.
