Saw Roy Evans last night on LFC.TV reviewing the Birmingham game. Sad, he looks old beyond his years. I read his book recently. Seems a genuine nice guy who absolutely loves Liverpool.

He was supposed to be an excellent youth team player but never got a chance in the first team; I think he played about a dozen games. Was always on the fringes but was never going to make it.

I reckon most of Roy Evan's problems as manager came about because he is such a genuine nice guy, and he was too nice to fight and show Gerrard Houllier a tougher side. Roy served the club really well, and when he went it was the end of the 'boot-room' era. As for lookin old, I think football management ages people anyway, look at Harry Redknapp!!

true its not worth me while losing my unofficial season ticket(getting to see all the game for nothing by doing nothing) by shouting obscenities at brian mcfatty.
