Can anybody on here please give me some info on Tom Saunders, who I believe was a member of the managerial staff in the 80s. I would particularly like to know what his role was towards the end of the decade.

There is a big section on him as well as other Boot Room boys in Roy Evans' book.

Tom Saunders was Liverpools man in Havanah.It was Toms job to assess our European opposition,giving full reports on the state of the pitch to the state of hotels.Judging by our successes he was very good at his job.
