yeah i agree, sky try to airbrush out the old division 1 history.
carra is playing well and has a fair few games under his belt but lets face it if fans want to see a real record look no further than cally`s. ian took over from billy liddell in the late 50`s against bristol rovers (i think) and went right through to the end of the seventies. i cant remember off the top of my head but i think it was around 860 odd appearances at the highest level, not just plodding through games in the lower divisions he was involved in league titles, fa cup finals, eufa / european cup finals etc right up till he retired. a true legend.
