Inconsistency

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby DAV » Thu Feb 03, 2005 2:17 pm

Each week on here the posts either say, depending on weather we win or lose "we arnt good enough" or "we have turned the corner"
Seems to me, this may carry on, as all season we have shown we are far to inconsistant
We have a good win and a good all round performance and then CRASH we are back to being a shambles
Everton are 4th by good all round team performances and the bit of luck which from time to time we all need
We can still get 4th but only with consistency
Forget Everton and the rest, whatever they do isnt our concern
Looking at our remaining fixtures, Most are winable
However, after the southampton game showed, we are still caple of inconsistant rubbish. Against any team
To sum up
We will see how commited our team are by our remaining fixtures. Anything but champions league qualification must be seen as a failure.

Hopefully rafa would have worked on our inconsistancy.....It was really painful to watch us play southampton.......hope it does not happen again.

its been the same for a couple of years now, either we're world beaters or we're complete sh!te.we are somewhere in between imo the best of the second tier in the EPL,but hopefully with the potential to challenge the top 3.

With the number of injuries we have had this season, the number of changes we have had to make to the first team means any consistancy this season  darned near impossible.

However it has been a problem ever since the days of Souness that we can beat Manure 1 week and lose to someone like Coventry the next.

Well we played an away game this week and no-one has slagged off Luis Garcia yet. Could this be because he set up the winner? I hope his detractors now realise that despite his faults, he can do a job for us, even away! Now lets stop all this "garcia out" ******, shall we?
