A lot are wondering why Pellegrino is here etc.... Pellegrino was signed by Rafa simply for cover, he was not expected to start any games unless one of our defenders were injured which they were [Finnan,Hyypia] and that's why Pellegrino has played a lot of games rescently.

He propably will not play imo in the next game because Finnan is back and that means that Carra won't have to play out of position. If Hyypia recovers in time then Pelle will not play. Clearly he doesn't have the 100% match fitness.

There is too much speculation. The media gets bored and when they do they like to pick our players apart. Some have said that Rafa would make Pelle captain which is rather rubbish. In my opinion Pelle will not be here more than six months, he's simple here for cover and to teach a few things to Carra and Hyypia about the Zonal Marking system.

Why would Rafa make Pelle captain when he can't even speak English? It just makes no sense really.

Apart from Pelle, I think our back four are not horrible. After Chelsea and Man Utd we have conceeded the least amount of goals however the problem is that the goals we have conceeded costed us the game. I'd like to think that it will be sorted with time given.

We have seen Carra and Finnan improve tremendously and I believe that improvement should continue under Rafa.

we haven't conceeded more than 2 goals in any match which is quite good.

the pellegrino transfer now seems even more bizarre and i'll tell you why.

i don't know if this is true, but i read this morning that spurs had agreed to sign collocini on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move.

if this happens then it's an absolute joke, considering we were supposedly interested in him and then "withdrew our interest" in the summer. he is argentinian, like pellegrino, but about ten years younger.

it's also unbelievable that we have traore at left back at the moment and i then go and read that bolton, yes BOLTON, have agreed a deal to sign vincent candela.

Most of this has been said on LFC.tv by Rafa. There's this thing called drawing conclusions and "common sense".

mabye we buy pellegrino to get good with valencia so we can grab a couple of players ni the summer... you never know. rafas not an idiot tho
