Do we need some new members?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Hey all,
I couldn't help but notice the lack of replies in the forum to my posts. I have seen the forume of the blue sh##e (www.bluekipper.com) and it seems 100x more active than this one.

Should we try and get more fans to join up or can somebody direct me to a more active LFC forum?

Thannks :)

Calla

Hi Calla,

I am the Webmaster here, so I thought that it would be a good idea for me to reply, I also want to improve not only the number of members in this forum but also the content of the site in general.  To give you a bit of an overview this domain was originally owned by LFC and used to sell their home and away kit as it was established sometime ago the Internet Search Engines list it very well so the site gets literally thousands of unique visitors each month.

For a while the domain was left dormant so that is when I decided to turn it into an open forum for the fans to use. To a degree it has been an experiment to see if there was a sensible uptake of membership. The forum was set-up last summer. As you might expect its been a bit like a "snowball rolling down a hill" there was a slow sign-up rate in the early days however the membership and activity has now started to increase and there is beginning to be good regular dialogue with sensible topics.

I am prepared to invest in the development of this site (look and feel, new sections etc) if its members are interested in helping with their ideas and perhaps some may want to become contributors by becoming editors to the actual content of the site if we add new sections e.g. player profiles, news reports, match summaries etc.

So what do you all think?

Do you have ideas?

Do you want to be involved?

How can we get more members?

:)
Webmaster
