he is definently wrong about the sacking thing, he hasnt performed at all so far but any manager deserves at least one season.....alex ferguson in his early years proved that!!

It's a shame there are people calling for his head already, and a good thing they don't represent the majority of opinion.

Roberts i am disappointed in you mate, I thought scousers were meant to be more patient than the out of town fans, apparently you are the exception to the rule.

No one is saying the performances are acceptable at the minute but with Alonso, Kirkland, Cisse, Kewell, Finnan all out injured, add the injuries to Gerrard and Baros that we have had to encounter it's going to be tough for any manager.

he has only been here 6 months and you want him gone? gee what if manU had adopted your fooloish attitude and sacked Ferguson after 6 months cos he wasn't doing all that great, they may have won nowt.

the man has undoubted pedigree and could do alot better job than you or any of us could do, so stop criticising and revelling in his misfortune and support the team like you're supposed to.

Criticism is fine so long as it constructive and has a point, putting rafa out in your sig nad posting an exit sign really isn't that now is it, and doesn't require much intelligence.

Can't believe people calling for Rafa's head on here already. FFS, translate our injuries to Chelsea - Drogba (Cisse) out for the season from september, Lampard (SG) out from Sept-Nov, Robben (Alonso) out from Jan-mid March, Cech (Kirkland) out for three months, Duff (Kewell) out for January and mid-Feb.

how far do you see Chelsea streaking away with those injuries? OK, their equals to our players may be better, but they're still equivalents. Look at how Arsenal have struggled losing Bergkamp, Campbell, Edu, Gilberto: you can't mount a serious challenge with our injuries.

BUT, just one criticism of Rafa. He spent 2m on josemi without even looking at Finnan, the best RB in the Prem 2 years ago. 2m wasted. 6m on garcia - ok, we needed a link player but he hasn't measured up. Alonso  is class, but i do think he needs to drop the Spanish is best attitude and look for British/Irish players - get some steel back in the side.
