Keep your heads up - There's still hope

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

When you look at how crappy we played today with a few key players gone, you'll know we can't play any worse.  So the way I see it is that next week we'll improve and hopefully come out with a win.

But the real reason we still have hope is because Everton lost and so we didn't lose any ground on them, and Boro only managed a draw so we still retain 5th place.  We just need a run of good form and few if no injuries and we'll be fine.  Hopefully Hyypia will be ok.

It's been a crappy week for sure, but we'll get that f*cking fourth place.

I know how that sounds. It's a pretty p*ss poor state of affairs when finishing fourth is considered an "achievement" but realistically, that's what we need to aim for along with progressing as far as we can in the CL.

F*ck everything else.

Everton lost didnt they?  Well that means they didnt widen the gap so its pretty much unchanged our position.  I wouldnt worry too much about Middlesborough I suspect they'll die in the later stages.  The only dissapointing thing is we didnt use Everton's loss to close the gap

its no use, blue sh1t loses when we lose too. We should start the pick up points ASAP. 14 more games to go only.

Yeah it's disappointing that we couldn't have used this as an oppurtunity to gain som ground on Everton, but how about the Boro' game?  Norwich came flyin back and if they hadn't we would be sittin in 6th place right now.  Call it what you want, but I have a feelin that luck could be on our side now

*Cues a statement that Hyypia died and we finish in the relegation zone
