Finnan ruled out

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby A.B. » Fri Jan 21, 2005 10:50 pm

Stephen Finnan will not be able to play against Southampton tomorrow due to his hamstring injury, he is expected to return in February while Josemi should return this month from his knee injury.

I disagree, I'll leave it at that.

If Josemi can get back to his old form then I think he will be solid as he once was earlier this year.

Hes a average player never Liverpool standard, it shows how low the club have sunk over the years, Finnan spent most of his career playing in the Lower Leagues before he got his break at mega rich Fulham :(

Hope your right about Josemi but I doubt it, he tends to loose his head at times, and seems to have a bit of difficulty in the prem, all them free kicks outside the box come from him. And had you on the edge of your seat when he was playing, worse 2 minutes the end of the CL game against the greeks   :Oo:

I think Finnan has improved tremendously under Benitez, he has been solid all season.

Do you remember him in the pre-season and the very first matches of the season? He was solid without a doubt, after our first Chelsea fixture he got into a bad form. Hopefully he will play like he once did before.
