That said, we've all posted something in anger then forgotten all about it afterwards so just hold your hands up and forget it. Maybe if you weren't so confrontational absolutely all the time, then people wouldn't take such great delight in picking you up.
People who disagree are not retards or feckwits, well not all the time anyhow, they just don't agree. As you've proven, everyone posts sh!te sometimes (simply because what you've posted can't all be right as it directly contradicts itself). Hold your hands up, admit you ballsed it up and move on.

Fair enough.

Agreed.

Our young players did well. They deserve to win. So what we lost. We have lost so many games even using our best SENIOR players.

For me I would back Rafa for playing the young players.

I can see our future top players in that squad.

We shall excel very soon.

The young players did very well in the Carling Cup even though if they did had some luck but you make your own luck in games. What upset me is that our young players had no passion in the FA cup game, they didn't even try to perform at their best and that's what bothered me. The senior players who played in that game weren't all that good either, it was just a poor performance overall but I'm glad that Rafa gave the  young ones a chance.

Now he knows who he can use and who he can't in the future.  There is so much work to be done and Rafa is the man for the job. Alonso has been briliant and has settled in well but it will take more time for the others to do the same. Keep the faith.

Did I mention Anfield in my post ? I think I said "anywhere".

The manager got his tactics wrong he should of played the youngsters in the Watford game and the senior team against Burnley, somone should of told him he got it round the wrong way, but still the players didnt perform on both nights really, so you have to ask why? maybe they all knew it was wrong and couldent get in the right frame of mind? Sorry senor Benitez but youve made a couple of gaffs this season, lets hope you learn from them!

A B - you do tend to rant at people
There's a difference between expressing a view
But something entirely different telling somebody to "Go and stick a torch up there ******" or whatever you put
I'll give you this though
You are passionate about LFC
Nothing wrong with that mate
Just stop resorting to insults when you don't like what people say
I've had to learn to do that on here - then it makes for a healthier constructive debate :;):

In a word YES .

I understand Rafa wanting to rest and protect our senior players , finishing at least 4th this season has always been our priority , but the addition of a few more senior players from the kick of (Baros ,Riise , Carragher ) and this game could have been sown up by half time, after which we could have made 3 subs and played the game out.

Ah well , whats done is done .  :(

.. Just to bring the discussion back on track...  :D

... read this on LFC.tv.. and says a lot about the Boss' view of things...

"Rafael Benitez has today explained why a top four finish in the Premiership is more important to the club than FA Cup glory.
In the wake of Liverpool's dismal third round FA Cup exit at Turf Moor on Tuesday, Benitez has received criticism for failing to field a stronger side in the 1-0 defeat.

The boss admits he's disappointed to have gone out of the competition but is standing by his decision and pointing to the 'bigger picture' as the reason why.

"I have to think of the bigger picture. I'm working to build a new team for the future. If you want the team rebuilt, you need money," says Benitez adamantly.

"You need to get into the Champions League and get as far as possible because that means more finances.

"I never want to be a manager who says we can't win this or that competition, but the reality is I know we don't have a squad which can compete for four trophies.

"In the future, I want to make a team that will be able to do so. We are not just working for one game. I want to build a squad which can fight in four competitions, but at this moment that is too difficult for us.

"We need 20 top class players in our first team squad and good players in the reserves. At the moment, we don't have this.

"How can I risk problems with those senior players I do have? Maybe we could have used more senior players, but we used virtually the same team away to Tottenham in the Carling Cup and won, so why not against Burnley?

"I'm very disappointed we are out of the FA Cup because I had a lot of confidence in the team.

"If I'm going to use these players in the future, I need to see them. You can't expect me to tell someone next year they have to leave unless I have seen their potential.

"Okay, we are out of the FA Cup, but we have seen a lot of these players now and know more about them. Potter, Whitbread and Raven have signed new contracts and Welsh and David Mannix will too."

Benitez also adds: "I know we will make mistakes. As a manager, I know I've made mistakes. A lot of them. The players have to learn from mistakes, and so do I.

"When we make a decision or a mistake, it's because we are working to a principle and an idea, not because I just wake up one morning and tell all my staff 'I've decided to do this'.

"We discuss our ideas and our intention is to prepare the club for the future.

"We know we have to change things. That means we need time. If we win, it's better. But if we lose, we know we are working hard to make things better and do things correctly.

"We need to use all the players we have, control what money we have to spend and try to win all the trophies. That's not easy.

"The fans need to understand we can't play four competitions at the top level with the same players. It's impossible."

Given the injury jinxed season so-far, while he won't use it as an excuse.. he must be having nightmares every time the boys take the field :D ..
.. but seriously this is an impassioned statement from someone trying to put our grtt club bak amongst the elites, ina situation of being "skint-ish".... acceptance of the bigger picture view, and the need for the whole sqaud to be  capable of turning over the likes of Burnely ...
THE BRENDAN REVOLUTION IS UPON US !

KING KENNY.. Always LEGEND !

RAFA.. MADE THE PEOPLE HAPPY !
