St mick, the end of the treble season he hit bad form. He was none existant in a number of games. However the start of the season after he picked up again, then that run of 2 in 30 was it? That was that. Finished. Waster with no mental strength.

He could have been a terrific player. He certainly had more ability than Ferdinand, Wright and Sheringham. Yet he failed to have there mental strength. Sad, but true.

If he had the mental strength, he'd have been the answer. Him and Owen would have been unstoppable. The sad fact of the matter is though, he's a quilt. End of.

I finally ran out of patience with Heskey when he fell over rather than crack it into the back of the net in the last minute against Manchester United last season.  That was THE KILLER MOMENT for me.

I can't describe it any way else.  He just fell over.

It was frustrated to watch Heskey play. As a professional player, I think he worked very hard and tried his best in every game he played here but I think he simply was unfairly compared to his record transfer fees. We simply overpaid for his service and I think our fans would have a different reaction if he only cost us say in the 3 million squid range. To me, I never questioned his work ethic and he simply was viewed as someone he is not.
