Cash in? 4 million pounds?

That is crazy. For an injury prone, inexperienced goalkeeper. He has nothing to show for, nothing. And that is his valuation; nothing.

Why; because he is not a very good goalkeeper, he is inexperienced, injury prone, big wage bill etc. I wonder how many years he has left of his contract. It would have been sweet to get him off our books just to reduce the wage bill.

as highly as i rate kirkland, there might be a time when we seriously have to consider cashing in on the guy. he doesn't play enough games, it's as simple as that. :(

You are unbelievable, Banana!!!

Kirky is one of best young goalkeepers in England, he has been unlucky for Liverpool. You can't blame him for that, it is just unlucky, that's all. Yes I do get fed up with his injuries. But I rate Kirkland highly.

Banana, name any young best goalkeepers in England? Come on!!

Why should I care for him being english or not? I don't mind having an irish, swedish or chinese goalkeeper. I ONLY care about skills.

Was Kirkland unlucky when he let Carsley slide in an easy ball?
Was Kirkland unlucky when he allowed Solano to shave his head with an easy ball?
Was Kirkland unlucky when he made two silly errors vs. Blackburn?
Is 48% saves a good ratio for a goalkeeper or is that unlucky too?

I do not like bad luck. And I do not like poor goalkeeping costing us stupid points. Pure and simple. All this nonsense must stop. He is the best goalkeeper, he is the future no 1, he is the next Clemence etc. This is garbage reasoning and is not based on facts. It is emotions running wild. How emotional did you feel when Kirkland made those costly errors?

I only care for the welfare of the CLUB. If that means getting rid of an young english goalkeeper so be it. The fact that he is young and english means nothing, absolutely nothing.

There are so many positives going on right now, and we have a good solid squad of players. Some new faces, some more work on the tactics and we can compete with any team. So I don't mind having Kirky as 2nd or 3rd choice goalkeeper as long as we have a good number 1.
