Wolverhampton wanderers - Wednesday

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I was just watching Sky Sports, a Wolves legend "Derek Dougan" has his eyes on Wednesday, he thinks Wolves have a chance of a result.

You have to give the guy credit for his attitude.  They have just beaten Manchester United, one of the biggest upsets in Premiership History, bottom club beating top, Liverpool have also just lost against Tottenham, (I WOULD LIKE TO SAY ONE OF THE BIGGEST UPSETS IN PREMIERSHIP HISTORY, BUT UNFORTUNATELY I DON'T HAVE THE STATISTICS TO BACK THAT STATEMENT UP!!!) this is as good a chance as they are going to get to make a statement that they will not go down without a fight.  They have Arsenal coming up in the next week or two, what was once a worrying run of games has turned into a challenge to bring the next team on without fear of defeat.

They will go into Wednesday's match with nothing to lose.  Ince will have them fired up, never mind Dave Jones.

I'm not under-estimating the second-bottom club, Wednesday is a potential banana skin.  Who's going to call the result though?  I'd love to get a 3-0 result in the bag, Owen getting a brace, and Kewell with the third, a statement for the rest of the league.

Come on Liverpool, it's Wolves, it shouldn't even warrant a mention, a worry, an effort.

A straightforward, brush them aside three points!!!!

That:

a)  You don't know that "a brace" means scoring not one, but two goals

b)  Wolves will only be playing with four players tomorrow, whereas Liverpool will be playing with eleven, plus an abundance of substitutes

c)  You have mistakenly "Wandered" into a Liverpool Fans' Discussion Forum.  You need to be in a Wolverhampton Wanderers Fans' Discussion Forum.

Try http://www.wolves-mad.co.uk/feedback/loadterm.asp to see if you like it better there.

I think it will be a tight and goalless first half, but in the second half, the quality will show.  An easy three points for Liverpool.

A tight game. We defend and try to hit them on the break.

Score? 0-0. Houllier will claim this as a great result and '' a platform for the boys to build on. we can go on.....'' OK I'll stop now.

a) No, I don`t know that brace means two goals. I`m norwegian remember, and I don`t know all the special words, or do you still call it "slang" ?

b) No, wolves will be playing with 4 players and Liverpool will  be playing with 2, if I follow your meaning / reply !

c) I have not wandered mistakenly into your forum ! As I have said before - Wolves have closed the messageboard permanently due to some idiot fans with no brain and lots of racist and/or foul language !
But thanks a lot - I will definately try the website !

And finally, yes I think too that it`s gonna be tight. But I DO NOT believe that it will be an easy match for L`pool - BUT FOR WOLVES !!!!

WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THAT !!!!

Arsenal lost at home last night and the game barely got a mention down here in London. Guess who captured the headlines again this morning? Yep, our very own, GH.

Today, our wise one features in two articles. The first one on how Michael Owen will be staying at Anfield. The second one on how our match tonight will start LFC on a run which will enable us to qualify for the CL. He said...''I wasn't surprised that Wolves beat Man United on Saturday. They are a very good team.......''!!!!! I guess that's why the bookies had Wolves at 7-1 to win at home.

So he has got the excuses in before we play tonight. If we win, we will have beaten a ''very good side....''. If we lose, well, we lost.....''to a very good side''.

I cannot take any more of him. He gets more press coverage down here than Ferguson, Wenger and Ranieri put together.

We're winning at the moment, although Iversen just missed a chance.  Granted, you've got us under pressure, Bruno Cheyrou again......what's going on?

its over. They f##kin equalized. Houlier please resign. Moores please just put him out of his missery. They cant win against wolves. Absolutely shocking. If Moores wants a sign that houllier has to be sacked then he wont get a bigger one than this.
