there is absolutely no way palace would sell johnson. that would be like conceding relegation for them.

Keegan warns off Anelka bidders
Boss Kevin Keegan says it would be "suicidal" to sell Nicolas Anelka - unless Manchester City were made an offer they simply could not refuse.
"We still owe £5m of his transfer fee so it would be suicidal to let him go unless we received a massive bid."

I wanna see some concrete evidence for all this we have not had anything on Sky Sports, BBC Sport, Teamtalk or anything regards any transfers apart from 'the long sausage' deal :D

My source in London, who run's an executive chauffeur business, used by a lot of the London club's ferrying visitors to and from Heathrow says that his take on the Johnson discussions is that no deal would be possible until the end of the season, but discussions before xmas involved a high powered LFC deputation.
Everton and Man City have both been recent visitors to Spurs, with Newcastle at Chelsea and Fulham.

My friend, who works on a London bus company, knows a guy who is the window cleaner at Charlton, and his cousin is best friends with the coach driver at Crystal Palace, and his dad used to work with a guy who was quite friendly with the Everton Chairmans old stage hand, and he has confirmed that the uncle of the kit man at Southampton, who moved from Portsmouth with Harry Redknapp, has heard a whisper from the steward at Newcastle, and he confirmed in the aforementioned whisper that it was true.

We are not signing any of these players.

We are signing Ronaldinho on a free.

Apparently, groups of people involved in negotiations quite often discuss the outcome of their meetings as they are driven back to the airport.

this is probably the single most ridiculous thread on this forum. its amazing what a high percentage of people are privy to confidential information or have 'contacts'.

we should turn this forum into a sports magazine. it'd sell millions.

Funny you should say that Andy Q, as my contact reckons it already sells millions, and it will sell for £10.5m with two in part exchange, and a further ten million based on appearences, starsign and number of children conceived.

I could easily say that I myself work at Anfield and I know Rick Parry personally and we are signing all of those players and I could easily make out an elaborate charade which would fool a lot of people (you'd be surprised how many people would believe me), just as easily as some guy who claims he over heard something in the back of his car.

Everyone knows someone who knows someone who knows someone (my GF's friend used to go out with Man UTD's physio) but stories like these are almost 99% made up or wildly exagerated.

If I had a penny for every time I heard a taxi driver or busdriver (ok, I can't claim to know many chauffer drivers as unfortunately I don't get driven around the place in style  :D ) who swore blind that they heard X incredible story in the back of their cab, well I'd be...you know the rest.
