And for a reason, Glen Johnson was horrible so it was easier to attack from that side than take on Gallas.

traore, no, no, no and no way is he good enough nor will he ever be good enough for us, and putting him at centre back will make it far worse, we'll be leaking goals every match if we did that, most ppl on this forum will agree that hes not good enough for us

Given all the players which we were linked with, I would be most happy if we manage to buy/recall (in the January transfer window): -

1. morientes
2. anelka
3. diarra (we need backup in CB..no need to spend $$ to buy a new one..lets give the lad a chance as he's been doing well in lens..)
4. le tellac (I think he's class..)
5. aimar (luxury player...we could well do without, but no harm hehe..:D)

And get rid off: -

1. diao

I think Le Tallec is coming back anyway and I think if he gets his head down he'll do quite well for us under Rafa. As for Diarra, he's a CM not a CB

I actually dont understand why Le Tallec hasnt been called back already. If nothin else Rafa would'v had an option to Mellor and Pongo to get Baros up and runnin again. Dont recall seein too much of him, but if hes had regular first team stuff in France he may have been able to do us a job......

Hopefully this will have been a real wake up call for Le Tallec and IF he comes back he will knuckle down and fight for his place in the side.

Also we have Evertons slide down the table to look forward to now their bubble has burst!!

Beattie £6M  :D

Aint the fact that Beattie robbed the bluenoses of £6M a good reason we have so many foreign players??!! That Rooney money looks like its bein well spent :D  :D  :D

They said Le Tallec has been on injury quite frequently. Even the French club dis not stop him coming back. He's very skinny ...:;):
