traore has looked good at centre half, i`d have no qualms about lobbing him in if one of the two centre halfs picked up a injury.
i think we should only bring real quality in now or dont bother.
i`ve had enough of houlliers squad type players.
morientes-yes, anelka- yes.
some 30 something south american out of contract defender - afraid not for me.
we still need a genuine pacy wideman who can cause havoc down the flanks, these players pull defenders over to back up the fullbacks and stop the middle being conjested......a wright phillips type.
or a harry kewell back in the form he was in in his early days at leeds.

in an ideal world we will buy :

1)both ledley king(1st choice with carra) & upson (backup)
2)vicente (left wing)
3)SWP (right wing)
4)Anelka & Morientas

You noe whats the sad thing is ? If we haven't bought Diouf, Diao, Cheyrou, Kirkland (or at least overpay for him) & barmby......we might be able to afford the above players.

we need a defender with pace technical ability to partner jamie in the center. So he can be the talented one everyone goes ole at and jamie can scream at him so he doesn't mess up.

King said he is staying at Tottenham.

Maybe at the end of the season we could prise away king from spurs if we do well!
He has said that if tottenham do badly he will look elsewhere!

The only reason that you should transfer a player into your team is if he impproves what you already have.

Although Sami has dipped a little, he is as good as King and better than Upson, so what is the point ??

I agree with what you say in the respects of transfer in only something that will improve you.
My opinion is that King is now a better player then Sami but Upson i'm not convinced about!
