Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby A.B. » Wed Dec 22, 2004 5:04 am

While we have beaten WBA at home, our away form has been poor and if we are going to turn that around a win is vital even if it is against a side who've been walked over for the past four games.

So since they've been beaten quite badly in the past few weeks we shouldn't expect them to give up without a fight.  Now that we have most of our players back from injuries, we will be able to play attacking football like Benitez has stated.

WBA have the worst back four in the Premiership as they have allowed 40 goals in 18 games and we need to take advantage of that.

We will beat them, They just don't have any quality, I m going for 3 - 0
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

There are no such thing as a sure thing in football, except West Brom away at the moment.  :D

They are in absolute chaos, and then they appoint Brian Robson, which is like putting Gary Lineker in charge of a Walkers Crisp factory.

The only way I can see us failing to win is where we are incredibly wasteful with our chances: it could happen, but not to us.  :;):

We need the 3 points to help us get back on track. A win will do nicely 2-0 :D

This is a kind of game I can see Stevie G and Baros dominating, as West Brom have a soft centre. Big Darren Moore is built like a brick sh1t house, but Baros will turn him inside out.

What are the chances, though, of BigMick's tip Robbie Earnshaw scoring?  :D

melors gonna run his socks off as well, hes got a bit to proove still and was saying he is loving his form at home, just wants to translate it away.
i think our wide men will be the difference tho, with kewell and garcia pulling away from defenders and giving mellor and baros the room needed

We will thrash WBA. Look at my supporting points :

1) In my view (not bias ok), recruiting robson for megson is a step back for WBA. Robson sucked a boro manager while megson has put up a neat outfit for a small sum. If megson had still stayed, WBA would have still gone down. But they will be rite up again. Under Robson, WBA will remain in the championship.

2)Somehow robson does not fancy earnshaw (good for hyppia though).

3)Baros, Gerrard, Alonso & Kewell nuff said  :D
