stu you quote world cup game against greece.beckham saved the day correct but it was him running round the pitch everywhere like a silly schoolboy that disrupted the whole team formation. He was the reason that England looked so dis-jointed.Then due to his great tackling skills, awareness and proffessionalism,he jumped over the ball to give possession to Brazil and they proceeded to make a tit out of Scholes and score the equaliser. So a goal against the mighty Greece doesn't make you irreplaceable.I'm sure your calculations for league goals is suspect too.

Just checked manc official web-site;reliable info..
Beckham scored a total of 11 goals last season only 1 was in the premiership against Everton on the last day.
I actually believe they have written their facts wrong;he scored 6 premiership goals only 1 was a free-kick,so his goal return isn't brilliant but his finger nails sparkle.

Poor goal return? whatever. He consistently scored 10 plus throughout his career.

He's world class.

You think i'm saying this because i like him? i support him? Pfft. I despise the England national team and Man Utd and also Real Madrid so how's that work then? I speak the truth and thats something you obviously can't handle.

As for him disrupting the team don't make me f##king laugh. He was all over the pitch because the rest of the team were standing round doing absoloutely f##k all including our very own Heskey and Gerrard. The whole team where not on top of there game and its a good job he was. If he hadn't played they would have took a good hiding. He covered every blade of grass and for you critisise his awareness clearly shows your ignorance and lack of knowledge of one of the worlds best players.

How many time have you seen him live? Just out of curiousity?

You ever seen him play against anyone but Liverpool either?

I'd doubt it to be honest.

He consistently didn't score 10 goals,so don't say that. And he does run around like a chicken without a head. You praise him for covering every blade of grass, yet you found fault with Hamann last week for doing just that.Your posts are continually full of contradictions, one has to wonder whether the "muppets" you keep referring too,are actually dictating your every word.Try and say something without swearing.

I critisised Hamann for covering every blade of grass? Don't talk utter garbage. I critisised Hamann for slowing the game down every time the ball goes out of play. So check your facts.

And Beckham consistantly has scored around 10 goals a season. Again check your facts, he is also consistently one of the highest in the direct assists charts so again, check your facts.

The top managers in the world also think he's a world class player. So what is it you know that nearly everyone doesn't?

have a good day :)

Some people know football because they play it and analyse it, not always correctly I would add, others just simply talk the biggest load of sh##e about it.

This thread has totally lost it's way;it began as GH excuses for defeat and after today I'm sick of hearing that cr#p.I mean Spurs had a full strength, world class 11 on show did they...no I didn't think so either. If you want to start another excuses thread, fine this one has 7 pages and is closed.Don't blame me it's the huge injury list of moderators, and beavis is cup-tied.
