Anelka wont go for less than 8m which is what they owe PSG.

But Keegan wants players so we can hopefully move either Smicer, Traore or Diao, or the lot of them to get the price down.

Many of us (myself included) are concerned about Anelka's "attitude" ,however I don't recall any real problem from him during his time with us and apart from wanting away from Man City I'm not aware of any problem he has caused them.
Anelka is a seasond goalscoring professional , all pundits that I have listend to have no doubts about the mans ability and he is generally rated as one of the best strikers in the EPL . For the right price I think he would be an invaluable addition to our squad . I personally think that given a run with us he would outscore any of our current strike force.

I remember the game against Newcastle where Anelka simply destroyed Newcastle, he was absoutlely world class and I would definitley have no problem if he came back. I believe he is only making these noises now because there is something in the works and he is just trying to take away the element of surprise. He knows that he needs to get his head down and work if he ever wants to fulfill his potential. I would have absolutley no problem if he signed.

It always amuses me when people go on about Anelka's attitude. It's not like Robbie or Gazza's attitude problems, which amounted to a skinful every Friday night - he just has "mouth control" issues. The guys a teetotaller, a model professional in training terms and frankly I could tolerate the odd outburst of cockiness so long as the guys performing for us on the pitch.

no chance. it'll take a steamroller to move diao anywhere. have you seen him play? i've seen more movement from a snail.
