He's very good in air. Note that our last two goals in the game started with Nunez. Nunez almost score with his header but the goalkeeper punched the ball and mellor put it in the back of the net.

Nunez headed the ball Gerrard's way and then Gerrard let one rip from 20+ yards away.

No he didn't.

It was Mellor with the knockdown.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.

Give him time lads, give him time. Anyone convinced yet? Anyone seen absolutely anything in the lad?

nunez has been injured for a while so it can only hamper him when he comes to getting use to the premiership, think he will come good though

It is too early to judge him. But if he's a quality premiership midfielder I'll be amazed.

Someone made a fair point earlier: of Rafa's 4 Spanish signings so far, only Alonso looks real class. Garcia may make things happen at Anfield, and I'm prepared to give him time, but he's got to be able to deliver away from home. I think i read somewhere that when he was at Barcelona they almost never took him away from the Nou Camp, he travelled so poorly.
