POOR NUNEZ

As you've already said - bit unfair to pass judgement after 12 mins & a bit
But the poor lad was playing his own game - he was still chasing the ball up the other end when Kirkland had it in his hands
Fair play to him though - he'd obviously been watching the Sh*te cheat all game - when he realised the game was 100 miles an hour and he was only going 35 - he thought f*ck it - I'll give them some back - and started gettin stuck in - I hope he's given a bit of time to settle in

He looked a bit lost to me. Never really got up with the pace and into the game.
Not that's to say he is a poor player, but it has to be tough to be thrown into that game with 15 mins to go as a Hello' to LFC, Anfield and the Premiership V Arsenal, all in one go !! Talk about a Baptism of Fire and come out running, that has to be as hectic as it get's.

your right
if he can cope with that - it should all get a little bit easier from here on in
one camera angle stuck in my mind after the game (apart from Mellor and Xabi's goals etc etc) - just after Nunez came on - they zoomed in on him
he seemed to have the look of total dismay  on his face
like "what the f*ck is going on here - I'm not used to this"
quite funny really
:D

As I've said, only listened to match on radio. Nunez featured a lot in a short time, and seemed to do ok.
