Poor bloke, loosing sleep over us, and anyone to question his dedication to us needs shooting.
I must admit when I thought Gerard was leaving and the Owen saga I didnt sleep much myself
He is the right man for the job and these players should be loosing sleep not dreaming about what they can do with there big fat wad.

RAFA SUFFERING SLEEPLESS NIGHTS
Paul Eaton 28 November 2004
Rafael Benitez has admitted Liverpool's inconsistent start to the Premiership season is causing him sleepless nights.
Liverpool are preparing for today's clash with champions Arsenal having already lost five Premiership games this term, and Benitez reveals the early hours are when he tries to find the solutions to his team's problems.

He said: "I woke up at 3am the other day and thought over what I could do to make things better.

"It's been happening a lot this season. I like it at that hour because it's a good time to think as the children are in bed.

"My wife will hear me and say, 'why can't you sleep?' but I get restless and instead of lying there tossing and turning I get up, take an hour. My mind cannot stop working, I am trying to think of ways to change things, to take us forward.

"I write things down and then try to explain the solution to the players several hours later. It's not unusual for me to do this. When I was younger I often studied at 4am. I found it very beneficial."
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I think his team for the Monaco game was the result of a bad night brainstorm.  :D

I dont think he quite realised the size of the task, like the rest of us I spose. However, this is the bad period and cannot get any worse. If he says to his wife the job is going to take 15 years then lets believe him coz how I see it from January we can start looking forward again and hopefully Rafa can get some kip. If not I will send him a huge blunt to give him the best nights sleep of his life. Nobody wants to write a season off but thats what we gotta do. Lost in Transition starring Rafa Benitez.
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

I imagine the way things have gone have shocked Rafa a little. After leaving a championship team at Valencia he is faced with all these problems. He has a hell of a lot to think about and sort out. Lets hope he enjoys a challenge and it doesnt get to him too much.

Losing sleep? God, I hope he stays at Liverpool. He is what we need.
Redrider, not funny.  The squad is not that strong according to his standards, and at Monaco we lost by a hand ball and major injuries.
I apologise if I didn't realise you were being acidulous.
