Just watched an old video of the 95/96 season and was amazed to see how good Fowlers goals were (even though ive watched it about 50 times!) but seriously fowler, mcmanaman and redknapp were some trio of english talent its a shame they eventually failed to grasp greatness :(  still Fowler will always be my favaourite, with maca second

Things like this ****** me off. Isn't hard work and aggression a natural gift?

Nothings natural in football. Its down to education, practise and application.

Players turn out a certai way down to upbringing, practise and desire to improve.

Certain players learn different things.

I voted other - because i feel that Jari Littmanen was an outstandingly gifted footballer who given the chance would have been immense.

i think my ooriginal vote went to harry kewell but i would change that to stevie g cos of wat i saw of him in the last season. i always thought he was our best player but technically he keeps getting better.

Just some of the moments that highlight that this season:
-When he should've had a hat-trick of peaches against graz
-The goal against olympiakos(nuff said)
-Goal against Pompey
-Display of class against Villa
-40 yrd cross field pass to riise against southampton was unbelievable
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.
