Seeing as Benitez hasn't recalled Le Tallec it looks like he doesn't think much of him.

IMO he is a much better player than Pongolle and would be a decent replacement for Garcia while he is out.

in our current state it would definately be worth looking at the partnership between le tallec and pongolle who i believe both still have something to offer the first team (sooner the better tho)

why bring people back if he wont play pongolel and mellor who are in the side anyways?
lets just wait and see, but la tallec would do a lot better if he stayed on loan for the experience if u ask me

Remember we paid £6M for Le Tallec and Pongolle. It's looking like that's another wedge down the swanny!

La Tallec showed promise to become a good player - not a sensational one.
I dont think his return will add anything we have not already got. Smicer will be fit by January and he is a better bet all round.

i would like to see la tellec come back as i think him and pongolle would could make a potentially very good partnership upfront. They know each others game very well as they have played together for many years at youth level were they had hugh reputations,whose to say this couldnt happen at senior level also.

Rafa was interested in buying La Tallec while he was with Valencia so I wouldn't be too surprised if he called La Tallec back.
