Im sure that once has recovered from this injury properly and gets back to 100% fitness we then may see the best of him. Give him a break and get behind him like a true supporter should.

couldnt have put it better myself

This idea that Kewell is playing through the pain barrier is boll0cks, he has his mind on one thing and one thing only £££££, Look at Henry last night, he looked in serious pain at times but you couldnt have dragged him off that pitch, ive not seen kewell wince once while hes had this supposed injury, Bascombe got it spot on in the ECHO, Kewell makes Heskey looked like he gave a fu*k about Liverpool when he played for us....Also why are people saying why would we sell Kewell to one of are rival clubs, who the fu*k would want him? ???
Also he gets plenty of encourgment at games but he could start paying us back and finally give us a reason for singing his name, I wonder if carragher starts playing utter b0ll0cks, lacks heart on the pitch, starts pullin out of 50/50s and walking round like he doesnt give a sh!t in games, we might start singing his name instead???
Chopper:Look, you're not still angry at me about the leg, are you?
Neville Bartos : Nah, forget about it.
Chopper : Because I don't know if you remember, Neville, but I had that bloody shotgun pointed at your head. I reconsidered and dropped it down to your kneecap. Remember?

oh please. stop the sympathy vote.

yes the guy has been carrying an injury. that's why he should have had it operated on in the summer instead of swanning off on holiday with his missus. if the guy had any dedication he would have sorted it out. stevie g forfeited playing in a WORLD CUP to have an operation and look how that benifited him as a player.

i know harry kewell has great ability. the fact is, at the moment he has to play because we are severely limited in terms of our attacking options. i think he needs a goal more than anything else.

Four words................ NAIL ON THE HEAD!

Kewell has been given a season and a half to show his worth and he hasn't given one outstanding performance just a bunch of bad, average, or not bad ones!!!

Right now , considering the shape our squad is in I'd be thankfull for any player that is fit enough to pull on a shirt .
Yes , Kewell has been disappointing but who would we use instead ?
We have no depth in our squad , Rafa may even have to consider recalling some on loan players if it carries on like this. :(

you know what really p#ssed me off about the garcia injury? it was the fact that he pulled up whilst jogging (not sprinting) after a ball in the first two minutes. now that either tells me that he didn't warm up properly or he's just got dodgy hamstrings. we all saw what happened with michael owen after all when he tore his hamstring. i thought it was only the likes of bellamy and woodgate who got this type of injury whilst nowhere near a challenge. ???  :(

Yep !
even the "pudits" mentioned that " I hope who ever comes on for Garcia has at least warmed up properly"

The past few seasons have been a nightmare for us in terms of injuries our players have sustained .

I'm beginning to wonder if thats a "Liver Bird " on our badge or a fking Albatross .

it's not just the fact that we have had injuries, or that we have had key players injured, it's the fact that we have lost key players to injury ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

last season, apart from didi hamann, we started the season with a full strength side. then in october we lost carragher for 6 months, baros for 6 months, owen for 3 months and gerrard for a month. that was the entire spine of the team gone just about. this season we have lost gerrard, baros, cisse and garcia for significant periods. :(

Don't know about you St Mick but I'm not expecting us to be in the CL next season. In fact I've almost written this season off. Lets face it when we had all our first eleven available we were still coming up short .

i think we'll beat olympiakos i really do. a 1-0 win will be enough but if they score we need to win by 2 goals. at the end of the day, if we don't qualify, the lack of a world class striker will have cost us millions. the deportivo match at home is a prime example and may come back to haunt us. :(

He came on to join a team that was already dispirited and beaten. There was no discernable service from defence into mid-field and beyond, he was also sent on to play out of position, Warnock had already been pushed into his slot. Talk about being given a hopeless task, that was it.
If you wish to go slagging off players, look at the ones who were on for the first 60 min's, I didn't see much to be proud off in that period, Balls booted out of defence, lost and mis-placed passes in mid-field, no width, no running down channels, clumsey forward play etc.
The only area to show any competence was in the last ditch tackling and man-marking. - Got that one right lad's, now let's start working forwards !!

He might not be that great, but don't blame Kewell for last night !!

With garicia injured, i think we have no choice but to give him another chance against arsenal. It was against arsenal (but at anfield) he scored a cracking goal. Hope he comes good against them.

And yes, i am sober (after 2 days)  :D
