We know Arsenal have had injuries uptop but you would've  expected them to do a lot better this season. Being depleted in a department does affect performances, as we experienced in the past. However, they've got a quite solid setup from defence to Mid, they definitely should've had more points on the board.

I’m not surprised they fell off as they were celebrating every win at the start of the season like it was a World Cup final and you cannot keep that type of energy going over a long season. Also the stupid cr@p Arteta was doing with the pick pocketing etc was almost desperate. They were convinced this was their year and they came into the season as entitled. Arteta with all the money he spent built a very expensive defensive team, relying on gimmicky set plays. Not surprised frankly and happy to see it as he strikes me as a bit of a tw@t.

I can't stand him also mate, I'd live guard of honour from them lot. In the past I used to quite like Arsenal, especially under Wenger but what swayed my mind was their fans. I can't stand their fans on social such as AFTV. Even this year they are salty af.

I hope when they come to anfield we beat them to rub it even more.

It's never over until it's over but if we blew it from here we'd probably go down as the biggest bunch of bottlers in history.
What the lads need to do now just to cement their legacy more than anything else is to go on and win it with an impressive points total, we are on 73 points now with 8 more games to go, that's a maximum of 24 more points which would give us a grand total of 97, that type of final haul would shut up any naysayers harping on about us being lucky because City imploded and Arsenal kopped for some injuries to key players. Any points total in and around the mid 90's lets everyone know we were bringing it no matter what this season and our rivals would have had their hands full even if they would have been at their very best.
I know it's unrealistic to expect us to win all our remaining games but how nice would it be to finish the season on 97 points, i'm sure the symbolism of that particular number is not lost on any of us.
Anyway its not won yet so i wont go overboard on the praise just yet but our lads have done the shirt, the badge, the fans, the city, their friends and family but most of all themselves proud this season. The premier league is the big one, it's the one trophy you don't fluke, winning the league is like winning the battle of the somme, it's just so attritional, it's football's version of trench warfare and this bunch of lads are an ace away from being heroes and writing their names in the sky forever.

I don’t think anyone can say we fluked it. We’ve lost only one match in 30, we have the best goals scored, best goal difference and second by one of goals conceded, City would have always had their hands full with this team. It would be nice to get 97 points though and win our remaining matches… especially after being crowned champions  :buttrock

This Slot team is much tighter at the expense of more flash. Defensively strong but no way a defensive team, certainly very hard to beat. Our second half improvements in matches leads me to believe that Slot is a great tactician, and we have consistently improved second half.

I can see us winning it before the Spurs match.

Arsenal will go all in for CL, could rest players and drop more points.

I’ll be amazed if Arsenal beat RL. They weren’t impressive getting a point out of the Everton match.

Beat Fulham and we are 14 points clear with 7 games remaining. I think will get it done this month.

Really hope we seal it at Anfield, scenes will be epic.

It's more likely going to be the Arsenal game when the league maybe decided......

Arsenal 1-1 Brentford...

Let's just seal it now.

3 wins to do it, unless Arsenal drop more points, I'd like us to win it at Anfield.

As poor as West Ham are in the league they played ok away against the big teams. I hope Mo shows us why we extended his contract as he’s been quiet for a few matches now. A win tomorrow will help the psyche.

If Arsenal lose against Ipswich and we beat Leicester we could seal it then.

Personally I want it against Spurs at home, winning the title in front of our fans would be electric.
