I'm not fussed about players leaving. Club is always bigger than any player.

It's the quality of the replacements that worry me. This year we signed one player - chiesa - and he's been $*i*e.

Man hope this is not a sign of a sluggish stressful end to the season, where we just about crawl to end line.

The most disgusting time wasting and game killing I've seen and only 2 minutes added to that. Ridiculous.

They could have played another 30 minutes and I don't think we would have got the equaliser.
Turgid, toothless, tired, lazy performances across the park today. Jota should not have started in a final, not a chance. He's been muck for weeks. Diaz should have gone at half time. Mo was not even remotely ar$ed today, did nothing.
The irony is that Chiesa probably unsettled them more when he came on than anyone else in red.
Don't know what was with them today but it was a total sh!tshow

No doubt, playing the same players throughout the season over and over has taken its toll. The players ran like one would run in a dream and still not move from the same spot, and the ball bounced off their feet like they've started playing yesterday. I'm not surprised that Chiesa did well tbh, he's got quality and the fact that everyone wrote him off because of the Plymonth game (fans and manager alike) where everyone was sh1t is ridiculous, should have been played more often and rest the others.

However, I disagree that we would have not scored another goal, we scored one why couldn't we score a second? But Newcastle wasted so much time and even VAR took at least 3 minutes to allow a very clear goal, and we only got 2 minutes added to that.

Not saying we weren't cack but we got hard done by at the end.

Guys we should be glad we are 12 points ahead, if we weren't this would be beginning of the end.

Slot has got hell of a job to do in summer if he wants to make us into a major force. We've been fortunate this season that the others tailed off.

After going out of Europe the other night I was expecting a much better reaction tbh. Instead we looked 2nd best all game and woeful up front. That international break comes at a good time and gives us a chance to refresh and see out the season.

No complaints about them winning it as they were the better team today!!

I will give Kelleher and Quansah credit today. The keeper kept it just remotely possible, Quansah was always going to be under pressure and he coped well with it.
You have to worry now about the run-in. They all look knackered. Some don't look bothered, and that's a big worry. TAA to come back from injury but his head has checked out. I hope we get Bradley back sooner. I hope for a miracle that either Jota or Nunez actually DO something on the pitch.
I hope the owners open the cheque book to replace VVD, Mo and TAA because I firmly believe all three will go.
Slot's 2nd season in charge will be a nightmare I reckon.

I'm beginning to think it's better if Mo leaves. It's the end of an era, time to move on.

We sold KK and bought Kenny and never looked back. Need to have the balls to do it with Mo.

Nunez can carry his bag to Speke.

What worries me is the club's competence to replace the likes of Mo, VVD and Trent. I'm not convinced we've ever replaced Mane, Wijnaldum and Hendo. You can add Robbo to that list, because he's done at this level.

I remember the 1990s when we replaced our title winning team with the likes of Walters, Piechnik, Thomas and Saunders.

Manure have been in the wilderness now for over 10 years because they replaced key players with dross.

Huge summer coming up.
