Really disappointed with that. It was such a winnable game if we'd have taken it half serious. It's shown players like Quansah, Chiesa, even Endo are not upto it. How we couldn't control that game with the players we had on is a mystery. We should always have a strong bench just incase it's not clicking.. its a learning curve for Slot this.

Can't find any Slot interview after the match. I'd love to know his thoughts on it...

We were shyte, considering the players who were on pitch couldn't overcome lowly side like Plymouth. Chiesa, Diaz, Jota all were poor.

Anyhow credit to Plymouth, well deserved, huge thing for them to progress into the next round.

My only positive is, one less game in a tough schedule. The squad we have I don't think we could've coped in 3 comps.

Disappointing result tbh considering the team we started with. Mc Connell and Nyoni are the only 2 I'd class as inexperienced from that starting line up.
Bit silly starting Gomez tbh considering he's off after 10 mins. Struggling to see what the hype is with Chiesa tbh. Looks a weak player to me. Elliot silly jumping like that with hands up, always an easy decision for the ref.

Not that upset we are out as its less games and we should be prioritising the league anyway. We haven't got the squad to push for everything.

Wednesday night is a massive game for us, absolutely massive!!

Worcester in 1959...Watford in 1970...results like this happen from time to time, embarrassing but like i say they happen. If we win on Wednesday what happened yesterday will be forgotten, well...forgotten by us anyway, Plymouth will never ever forget this result.
To be fair they deserved to win, you could see how up for it their players were the way they celebrated every blocked shot and tackle. They just wanted it more.

blah blah blah... good thing IMO, hate losing but I'd rather exit at first knockings and crack on with the other priorities than have the fatigue and fixture build up to lose in a semi. We need to focus on Wednesday and this cup exit could be a blessing for the rest of the season. This is the only thing City have to play for so let them focus on it.

You reap what you sow. Play the weakest side I've ever seen in a red shirt and what do you expect?
Slot's beginning to believe his own hype.

This.. I'm little disappointed but to be honest we've got bigger fish to fry.

I don't think so Dev, just stating the obvious, if you put a very poor team out you're going to lose no matter who you are.
