Liverpool Football Club - Games

Team news

Bournemouth could be bolstered by the return of Colombian winger Luis Sinisterra, who has been out injured since mid-October.

The squad will otherwise be unchanged from last weekend.

Liverpool will make a late decision on the availability of Diogo Jota, Joe Gomez and Darwin Nunez, while Curtis Jones is expected to miss out again.

Gomez has been sidelined for eight matches because of a hamstring injury, Jota has not featured since scoring at Nottingham Forest in mid-January and Nunez missed Wednesday's Champions League defeat at PSV Eindhoven due to illness.

-----------------------------

This will be tough, big hitter will be back.

They've been impressive in Jan, last two fixtures dismantling Newcaslte and high flying Forrest. Every game is nervy so expect a tough battle. With Arsenal facing City this could be a chance to extend our lead.

Worst time to be playing these really, we're playing them right after they battered an in-form Nothingham Forest 5-0, they'll be full of confidence. Even with that game aside Bournemouth are in pretty good form overall, even with all the injuries they've had in their squad.

We did beat them 3-0 at Anfield at the beggining of the season but it definitely won't be so easy this time. At least they're not a team that defends deep, they like to attack and go forward so hopefully that will be something we can exploit. We also rested our main players during midweek so they should be fresh for this one. But to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if we dropped points here, if we win though it will be huge 3 points.

There's going to be a lot of eyes on us today but a game like this gives us the opportunity to really make a statement, i think a solid convincing away win here pretty much wins us the title, i think psychologically our rivals would think to themselves this lot arent going to blow it. Subconciously they'd throw the towel in imo.

Hopefully an easy win as they match up well against against us, I much prefer playing a high flying attack minded team, than a low block team that clogs things up and hopes for a counter attack and then clogs things up more. Them being at home also helps us as they will go for it more in front of home support. Hopefully something like 3-0.

I agree completely with this ..if Arsenal drop points today and we do not capitalise, we will have lost the opportunity to perhaps put the Title race to bed.

Consider if Arsenal draw and we win that puts us 8 points ahead with a game in hand - beat Everton and it becomes 11 points with 14 games to play...they would have to be perfect and we would have to lose 4 from 14.

This is a MUST MUST win and then then let's see what Arsenal are made off at the Etihad.

Trent looks half asleep again. He needs to wake up here, every chance they're getting is from him being slack.
