It said on Sky that his team gave Real the okay to put in a bid, if thats the case i dont ever want to see him in a red shirt again. The little badge-kisser can eff off to spain we'll be sound with Connor and Joe who's actually an underrated RB on the sly.

His brothers who are part of his Agent entourage have already disclosed too what they thought were close confidants , that he is going to Madrid. The wages and signing on fee will amount to a weekly wage of £600,000.....do not be fooled into thinking there are any on going negotiations into a possible agreement..its not happening. His agents including his brothers have been in talks with Madrid since last June

tbh i've thought his body language has been terrible for ages i'm talking like 18 months if not even longer and that would tie in with what you are saying, starting to look like he's been plotting his way out for ages and planning to stuff his pockets full of gold on his way out the door as well, born and bred scouser rinsing his boyhood club on his way out of the door....nice. This is a fella who is already a multi millionaire btw. Greedy little so and so. Looks like his professed love of the club has always been about as phony as his scouse accent. Take the money and move on.

Thats why it always makes me baulk when fellas around me chant the only scouser in the team and we need to pay anything to keep him....it's always been about himself ..he wants to win the "Ballon dor"...f*ck off..
The real Liverpool legends have never come out with such self absorbed Sh*t......it's always been about the team and how they can contribute to the success of Liverpool FC

As long as Salah and Virgil stay I'm not worried. Our efforts should go at extending their contracts. Ibou and Alisson as well with only 18 months on their contracts, Trent should only come after these 4.

Just sick when a local lad goes on a does it. If he goes to real on a free he is in Owen territory and will NEVER be view in a positive light ever again.

In any case, we want to win the premier league this year and this is all an unwelcome distraction. He is a fantastic player and could certainly help us win this year, we are stronger with him than without him as long as he gives his all to help us. Real are c.unts and love to unsettle players, we need to shut them down so they don’t come back this window and affect his desire to play for us. They can have him in the summer!

On the other hand, if he becomes a negative influence on the team and sulks then sell for 20m so he can watch us lift the CL with another team.

Madrid's deffo the right club for players who are up their own ar.se and being a greedy little sh1t as well the Bernabeu's clearly his spiritual home. He's going where he truly belongs, glad for the lad, that club and him are made for each other.
Just a shame he's cup tied in the CL, imagine the noise in the stadium if Connor went through him like he went through Mbappe.

Owen was born in Chester and grew up in North Wales, yes his parents are from Liverpool but his arl fella was on Everton's books so Owen grew up a blue. Trent's meant to be a proper scouser from the north end [though with that accent i have my doubts] and a boyhood red.

Last year Klopp leaving announcement left us with a dent for the rest of the season. I don't think this trent issue will leave the same mark but certainly it is going to play a role. Media will have a field day with constant attention on Trent.

I just don't get Why Real? what is there other than better climate. Linekar is a tw.at saying trent will be idolised and loved there. Bollox he'll just be another number and hated if he performs poorly.

What I don't want, is for other players to start thinking that there's a big pay cheque waiting after building their name at LFC then moving on. Who was the last player who forced a move, you can count them on 3 fingers in the last 15 years?

Trent has been here since he was 6 years old and has helped the team to win every prize in the game so I personally have no gripes with him going.

For every player in the game Real Madrid is the pinnacle and for them to want you is a massive bonus. They have it all, the lifestyle, the weather, the set up, the big players and the prestige. He might just want a new challenge as well which you can't deny the lad after all he's given. No way he will be treated like Owen either as he'd never join the scum.

It's wrong though that we get nothing for him but that's down to the club, they should have sorted this ages ago and never let it get this far. If there really is 20 mil on offer then that should be considered imo. All I read in the media is Lfc working really hard behind the scenes to tie down their stars to new deals but Salah again saying no contact in 6 months!! It's reputable sources saying that as well so maybe it's the same with trent.  It happens too often on players we should be getting sell on fees for.

Liverpool have reportedly tabled a whopping £78 million five-year contract to Trent Alexander-Arnold in an attempt to fend off interest from Real Madrid. The Spanish giants have also put forward a similar £300,000 per week offer for the 26-year-old, with the added incentive of a substantial signing-on fee if he joins them as a free agent in the summer.

To be fair to Trent, he hasn’t talked about wanting to leave or his agent hasn’t posted cryptic messages like other players have. He has kept his business private and we have just been speculating on press reports. I think he has a fantastic eye for a pass and is probably the best striker of the ball worldwide which makes him world class, I’m not surprised Real want him and he’ll probably take the Kroos role if they get him and not play right back, his skill in that team of players will make him a superstar.

I think he has reinvented how Right back is played and a huge cog in our success since he came on the scene, Salah wouldn’t have achieved what he did without him and to  some extent Klopp also . Players that reinvent their position don’t come around everyday. He is humble and never acted bigger than the team. I hope he stays as he is a genuine world class player, the fact he is an academy graduate doesn’t mean he cannot be a superstar. Defensively he is not world class and that is where the doubt about him comes from, despite that he plays in any team in the world.

Too little too late imo and we are only doing this now to save face. This should have been sorted long ago and players winding down there deals is nothing new. Not to us anyway as we have let it happen multiple times over the last decade.

Just hope that this along with the other contracts doesn't derail us from the fantastic football we are playing. That gets overshadowed after every match due to the focus on contracts.

The signing on bonus is too lucrative to players and it's a slap in the face of any respectable club. Player power has got out of control and it's going to ruin the game. It's given teams like Madrid a massive advantage of stealing the best players for free to stay inside FFP. If Trent gets a £60m signing on bonus and leaves us on a free, then his legacy goes straight in the bin.
